On-Demand Asbestos Abatement

Ontario County owns several structures that have asbestos-containing materials present. Occasionally, the County requires the removal of asbestos-containing material from a job site in order to complete work. General scope of work for each prime contract may include the following: 1. Removal and Disposal of Asbestos-Containing Material: a. Furnishing of plant, equipment, traffic control, superintendence, labor, skill and materials and all other items necessary for the removal and disposal or encapsulation of asbestos b. Remove equipment from in the work areas when such equipment would impede ACM removal. c. Removal and disposal of roofing/mastic ACM. d. Removal and disposal of siding ACM. e. Removal and disposal of caulk/glazing ACM. f. Removal and disposal of flooring/mastic ACM. g. Removal and disposal of ceiling ACM. h. Removal and disposal of thermal system ACM. i. Removal and disposal of miscellaneous ACM in buildings. j. Removal and disposal of concrete-encased pipe ACM. k. Removal and disposal of underground pipe ACM. l. Removal and disposal of suspended pipe ACM. m. Removal and disposal of bond breaker/filler ACM. n. Removal and disposal of caulking ACM. o. Removal and disposal of miscellaneous ACM in bridges and highways. p. Perform work in accordance with 12 NYCRR Part 56, and other applicable regulations.
