Description | D264981, PIN 801847, FA Proj Y001-8018-473, Ulster Co., Highway - Shared Use Path Installation - Rt 28, Town of Olive, Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $20,000.00) , Goals: DBE: 1.00% Replacement of Bronx River Parkway Bridge Over Amtrak/csx Railroad, Bronx County Route 28 Shared Use Path This project will create a shared use path along federal-aid eligible State Route 28 between the Hamlet of Boiceville and the intersection of Route 28A in the Town of Olive in Ulster County. This shared use path will continue the shared use path created in the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) project, CAT 252, on NYCDEP owned Route 28A. The project will increase safely and mobility for pedestrians and bicyclists travelling between the Hamlet of Boiceville and the Boiceville Bridge Ashokan Rail Trail access on Route 28A. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2022/2023. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2023/2024. This Project is Located in the Hudson Valley Region and Includes the Following: Counties Ulster Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form CONR 391. Electronic bids must include an electronic bid bond.
