This project funds the passenger boarding bridge to enhance passenger accessibility and safety. $1,215,000 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 22003 TEAM Project No. 1-5133 The work generally consists of construction of a passenger terminal and associated site work. The Work is defined by two work packages. Work Package 1 consists of construction of site utilities, parking lot and roadway construction, and apron paving. Work Package 2 consists of construction of the terminal building. A copy of said plans, specifications, and form of contract, and estimated total cost is now on file in the office of the Airport Manager and may be examined at the Airport Terminal Building, Mason City Municipal Airport, 9184 265th Street, Clear Lake, Iowa 50428. Upon review and evaluation of the bids the Commission will meet at a time and date to be determined to consider the bids. Approximate project quantities include: o 23,350 SF Passenger Terminal o 300 LF Sanitary Sewer o 800 LF Storm Sewer o 400 LF Water Main o 14,000 CY Excavation o 10,000 SY Crushed Aggregate Base o 1,850 SY Concrete Sidewalk and Paving o 1,840 Ton Asphalt Paving o 8 Acres Seeding, Fertilizing o Erosion Control o Traffic Control Davis-Bacon Requirements: (29 CFR Part 200 Appendix II(D) and 29 CFR Part 5): The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the current schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. Bid security in the amount of Five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. Goals for minority participation for each trade 2.0% Goals for female participation in each trade 6.9% *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
