RFP Engineering - Mill Pond Dredging Phase 2

The Procurement Office of the Town of Barnstable on behalf of the Department of Public Works is soliciting responses from qualified professional engineering firms to provide professional evaluation and design services to prepare the Mill Pond Dredging Phase 2: design, permitting as outlined in this RFP. The contract and its award process are not subject to the Uniform Procurement Act pursuant to the M.G.L. c. 30B or the Designer Selection Law, Chapter 7. Issuance of this Request for Proposal does not signify the Towns submission of this service to the provisions of the Act, and the contract and award will be made at the Towns discretion. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. Award of a contract resulting from this Request for Proposal shall be in strict accordance with the requirements of this document. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town. Last day to submit questions is no later than 12:00 noon on August 18, 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Erosion and Sedimentation Controls.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Ponds and Reservoirs.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Shoreline Protection, Waterway Construction and Equipment.
