Minnesota Interagency Fire Center (MIFC) Roof Repair

The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: 1. Sweep back existing ballast rock and prep EPDM 2. Remove existing metal edge cap as needed and save for reuse. 3. Cut out existing stretched EPDM which is stretched approx.1 foot to 3 foot and let relax. 4. Install new 6-inch reinforcement strip 5. Install a new piece of EPDM seaming onto existing EPDM running and over roof edge. 6. Refasten existing roof edge as needed. 7. Flash and seal all 12 scuppers. 8. Reinstall metal edge flashing, striping it in as needed with new 6-inch cured cover strip. 9. Sweep ballast rock back into place. 10. Furnish a 5 year warranty of edge repair only. The Contractor will furnish all supervision and services to repair the roof edge and control joint wall approx. 980 L.F.
