2023 Town Road Seal Coating and Cold Mix Paving

Seal Coating, Traffic Control, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Construction, Asphalt Overlay, Rehab. and/or Maint For this project, the Town of Ixonia will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the 2023 Town Road Seal Coating and Cold Mix Paving via the online electronic bid service . Electronic bids will be accepted until 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2023. After the official Bid closing time, the electronic Bids will be opened, reviewed and, if accepted, displayed. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning March 8, 2023 Approximate quantities are as follows: Chip, Slag, or Bottom Ash Sealcoat 60,500 SY \ Cold Mix Asphalt Level and Overlay Paving 11,400 SY \ Project is to be completed on, or before, September 1, 2023. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15, 66.0901 and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ All bidders must file a "Bidders Qualification Statement," with the Town Clerk on or before 3:00pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. \ Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided through All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certfied check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. \ Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Section 62.15 and 66.0901. \ Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. \ Owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the Contract for a period not exceeding 45 days from the date of bid opening.
