BOPD Engineering and Environmental Open End $2M

The work and services which may be required under this Agreement encompass a wide range of Bureau of Project Delivery engineering efforts with the possibility of several different types of projects with short completion schedules being assigned concurrently. The anticipated types of projects include but not limited to: 1. Procedural Services - develop/maintain design guides and other policy directives, expedite execution and administration of contractual agreements. 2. Agency/Entity Coordination - facilitate integrated team activities and those with specialized expertise with the goal of maintaining and/or improving the means of collecting and presenting data to render interagency communication efficient and productive; coordinate with utilities, metropolitan planning organizations, local municipalities, contractors, and the general public to optimize communication with these entities. 3. Project Delivery - assist the Department with innovative project delivery efforts. 4. Familiarization Sessions - develop and implement familiarization sessions for highway, structures, right-of-way, contract management, consultant liaison, and project management areas of expertise. 5. Information Management - maintain and/or improve the management of information, work with engineering application software, office automation, database applications, management systems and network systems. 6. Project assignments on behalf of Engineering Districts 7. Assist the Bureau in any other facets of its mission deemed necessary by the Director.
