Description

Project No.: D22013 HSCR The University of Alaska is seeking bids for the Student Health and Counseling Center Renovations-Phase 1 project. The Work consists of major interior demolition, asbestos abatement, and the construction of new framed walls, ceilings, doors, and finishes. Lighting will be converted from fluorescent to LED fixtures. Mechanical and plumbing will be modified as required to support the new room layouts. Bidders are advised that the University of Alaska has a procedure for accepting alternate products or systems prior to bid opening. Acceptance of substitutions after award is limited. See Instructions to Bidders and the General Conditions. Funding for this project is available. Bid security is required to be submitted with each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. State law requires a bid to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible "Alaska Bidder" after bidder's preferences and Alaska Products Preferences have been applied. Further instructions are contained within the Instructions to Bidders. The University of Alaska reserves the right to reject any or all bids, offers, or parts thereof it deems necessary, to waive any informality in the bid or offer received, and to award in the best interest of the University. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
