| Description | Professional telecommunications site development firms to provide design, build, and management services for a tower to be built on WCU property. Two national cellular carriers maintain equipment on the roof of Scott residence hall. Scott hall is scheduled to be demolished starting in May 2020 in preparation of redeveloping this portion of campus. In preparation of this demolition WCU has worked with various firms to locate an acceptable location for the relocation of the services delivered by these (or future) carriers. The current plan is to create 2 new sites on campus - one is another roof-top location and the other is a new tower that is the focus of this RFQ. Both sites have been reviewed and found acceptable by one of the current carrier ' s RF planning team. See included maps and property survey for proposed location. | ||||||||||
