RFQ Design - Alumni Coliseum Renovation and Expansion Design

Eastern Kentucky Universityis soliciting Statements of Qualifications ("Qualifications") for the selection of an Architect/Engineer ("A/E") firm for design of the Alumni Coliseum Renovation and Expansion project. Prospective A/E firms are hereinafter referred to as "Respondents". PROJECT DESCRIPTION, SCOPE AND BUDGET: The renovation and expansion proposal to Alumni Coliseum enhances the universitys profile by improving athletic program spaces including mens and womens basketball, indoor and beach volleyball. The addition of a competition swim & dive pool will provide more opportunities for Division I athletics, Exercise Science classes, Model High School swim opportunities, and hosting large scale swim meets for the service region. The student-athlete academic center and academic class spaces will be expanded and receive enhancements. Questions Due By: 05/03/2022 no later than 12:00PM - Submit via the Q&A electronically Contract Term - The Contract resulting from this RFP and the Successful Offerors Proposal shall have an initial term from award date through June 30, 2023. The Contract shall be renewable for up to four (4) consecutive one (1) year renewal periods. The total contract period will not exceed five (5) years, subject to KRS 45A.145. Annual renewal will be contingent upon the Universitys needs and satisfaction with the services performed and the overall performance of the Contractor. The University reserves the right to renegotiate any term and/or condition as may be necessary to meet requirements for any renewal period. The Successful Offeror will be advised of any proposed revisions prior to the renewal period The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
