Description

EMNRD Management of Electric Transmission Line Rights of Way in Forested Areas Projects Questions Call (505) 827-0472 Question Submission Close Date 8/29/2022 4:30 PM MDT Contactor must be a utility, which includes rural electric cooperatives and municipal and county utilities, that has electric transmission line rights of way in forested areas and provides electrical services within New Mexico. 2. Contractor must use the funds provided to increase the Contractor's alreadyscheduled, ongoing vegetation management, maintenance, or treatment activities in or adjacent to its electrical transmission line rights-of-way in forested areas. Such projects must be designed to reduce hazardous fuels and mitigate the potential for electric transmission lines and facilities to ignite wildfires and risk of wildfire spread. Contractor shall maintain all required permits and approvals throughout the term of this Agreement. 6. Contractor must provide a non-federal funding match of 25%. 7. Contractor must successfully complete the project by the end of fiscal year 2025
