Landscape Maintenance - Maybrook Section of the Empire State Trail within Dutchess County and Upper Landing Park

The Maybrook Section of the Empire State Trail in Dutchess County is a 14.85-mile linear park recreational facility that runs from Hopewell Junction, NY (East Fishkill) to Holmes, NY (Pawling) (see Exhibit A – Map). The trail was built under the direction of New York State by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro-North Railroad), and Dutchess County has agreed to provide basic landscape maintenance for this facility, which involves the scope of this RF. Upper Landing Park is a riverfront park within the City of Poughkeepsie that will become a County Park facility in 2022 (see Exhibit B – Map). The Park is 2.7 acres along the City’s northern shoreline of the Hudson River. The Park offers foot paths, shade trees, picnic tables and benches, all taking advantage of the river view. The Work called for under this specification consists of furnishing trained, qualified, and professional landscape maintenance personnel and the needed equipment to accomplish the work.
