| Description | The architectural scope of work for the Governor’s Mansion Miscellaneous Repairs for the fireplaces includes the following: Sealing cracks and openings in firebox to prevent exposure to potentially combustible materials .Resurface flues with Heatshield Certfractory Flue Sealant. Parge Coat the Smoke Chambers .Fully service, clean, and reposition (6) gas log burner sets for best function and operability. Miscellaneous gas pipe & valve repairs, replacement. Repair, reconstruct firebox, smoke chamber area in (2) locations. Install (1) new vented gas log set. Install (1) new ventless gas log set. Install (4) new copper chimney caps with proper clearances to chimney crown and flues .Install additional top section of double-wall chimney pipe to existing pipe on roof to properly separate intake and exhaust air for fireplace #6. Install Screens at firebox. |
