Meadors Road Drainage Project

Questions Must Be Received by : 09/08/2022 12:00:00 The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is seeking bids for the removal of existing 48" drainage pipe under Meadors Road (S-21-545) and replacing it with a 60" reinforced concrete pipe. Also, for the removal of an existing 48" drainage pipe under Stratton Drive (S-21-705) and replacing it with 2-48" reinforced concrete pipes. The new pipes will be laid back in the same locations and at the same elevations. Attached is a map showing the approximate pipe locations, pipe specifications, pipe standard drawings and rip rap standard drawings. The installation of the new drainage shall be installed in two stages. Stage 1 the pipe crossing Stratton Drive will be installed, asphalt placed and then open back up the road to traffic. Stage 2 will be the installation of the pipe crossing under Meadors Road. Some field adjustments may be necessary with concurrence of the SCDOT Engineer over the project. All work shall conform to all requirements listed herein. Start date: 09/28/2022 End date: 09/27/2023. Dates provided are estimates only.
