| Description | Required in support of the District Drainage/Environmental Permitting Group of the Florida Department of Transportation (Department). Protecting the Department's interests by acting on behalf of the Drainage/Environmental Permitting staff is the primary objective of the services to be provided under this contract. The purpose of this rule chapter is to regulate and prescribe conditions for the transfer of stormwater to the Department of Transportation’s right of way as a result of manmade changes to adjacent property(ies), through a permitting process designed to ensure the safety and integrity of the Department of Transportation’s facilities and to prevent an unreasonable burden on adjacent and downstream properties. This rule chapter does not regulate dewatering activities. |
