New Construction, Cherokee County Fire Station 13

**As of December 1, 2022 project was awarded to Cooper & Company General Contractors, Inc, awarded amount of $6,210,000.00 with a 10% county-controlled contingency of $621,000.00.** New construction of Cherokee County Fire Station 13 including site work. Roughly 12,342 SF CMU building with a metal roof, brick veneer and hardie siding. A. General: The Work to be performed and completed by the Contractor under this Contract is shown on the drawings and specified in Contract Documents. B. The Work to be included and provided by the Contractor includes: 1. Furnishing of all needed and necessary labor, material, project management, superintendence, layout & engineering, safety, protection of personnel & equipment and materials, materials and other testing, plant, power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, enclosures, equipment, supplies, shoring, lifting, scaffolding, hoisting, product certifications, inspections, services and other means of necessary temporary and permanent construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work. 2. Sole responsibility for adequacy of plant and equipment. 3. Maintaining the Work area and site in a clean and acceptable manner. 4. Maintaining existing facilities in service at all times. 5. Protection of finished and unfinished Work. 6. Repair and restoration of Work or existing facilities damaged during construction. 7. Furnishing as necessary proper equipment and machinery, of a sufficient capacity, to facilitate the Work and to handle all emergencies normally encountered in Work of this character. 8. Furnishing, installing, and protecting all necessary guides, bearing plates, anchor and attachment bolts, and all other appurtenances needed for the installation of the devices included in the equipment, where or when specified. Make anchor bolts of appropriate size, strength and material for the purpose intended. Furnish substantial templates and shop drawings for installation. *The owner requests that all subcontractor / supplier inquiries be directed to the GC Bidder.
