Esser III HVAC Equipment and HVAC Replacements for Ace and Gladstone

**As of April 14, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** African Centered Elementary (ACE) Installation of split system units with associated ductwork, electrical, controls and structural modifications for gymnasium as per attached bid documents. The work shall be in accordance with the following conditions which will be made part of any contract entered into: 1. Obtain all necessary Permits required for Project and all additional documentation required for process. 2. Shutdown existing units VU-10 and VU-11 serving Gymnasium. Disconnect hot water heat piping. Disconnect supply air duct connection and remove duct transition. Remove existing return air duct boot (See Photos and Sketches) 3. Remove unit cabinet, fan, filters, etc. in entirety. Prepare remaining ductwork for new connections. 4. Modify existing mezzanine and ground for installation of new units. 5. Install new floor mounted DX cooling / hot water heating units on existing mezzanine. Re-connect hot water piping and install accessories as noted per detail. Re-connect supply air duct to outlet of new unit. Provide new return duct with boot full size of unit return air inlet opening. Install new outside air louver and connect to unit. (See New Work Sketch) Gladstone Elementary Installation of replacement dedicated outside air floor mounted unit with associated ductwork, electrical, controls and structural modifications as per attached bid documents. The work shall be in accordance with the following conditions which will be made part of any contract entered into 1. Obtain all necessary Permits required for Project and all additional documentation required for process. 2. Read airflows (supply and outside air) on existing system prior to shut down. 3. Remove existing dedicated outside air floor mounted unit AHU-01. Modify connections, condenser water piping, foundation and ductwork to accommodate new unit. (All Photos & Demolition Sketch) 4. Install new unit and connect new ductwork and condenser water piping into existing. (New Work Sketch) 5. Provide new electrical power for unit. The deadline for submitting questions on this IFB is March 31, 2023 at 4:00 PM CDT. Any questions submitted after that date and time will not be considered or answered. Certifications, Licenses, Tariffs, etc The Vendor is required to submit under any and all required certifications, licenses, etc.
