Description | ** As of December 5, 2022, this project was awarded to Environmental Maintenance Engineers, Inc . However, Project has been canceled by the school district* Questions may be addressed to: Nova Environmental, Inc. Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 Dearborn Heights School District #7 Mr. Jason Perkins, (313) 203-3231 Contractor shall construct one frill enclosure for the removal of the materials identified in the Scope-of Work. All walls shall be sealed with a minimum of two (2) layers of four (4) mil polyethylene. All remaining floors shall be sealed with a minimum of two (2) layers of six (6) mil polyethylene. All remaining ceilings shall be sealed in one layer of four (4) mil polyethylene. Full decontamination chambers shall be constructed and used for the duration of the project. Prior to any set up, the contractor shall construct wood frame and polyethylene barriers, where identified by Owner's Representative. Security of the building must be maintained at all times. It is the Contractor's responsibility to furnish and install security partitions immediately upon removal of any exterior building component. All temporary enclosures must be completed prior to leaving the site each day. Partitions shall be constructed to satisfaction of Owner and Owner's Consultant. All ceiling materials (including ceiling tile, glue pods, plaster board, plaster and support structures to deck) shall be removed and disposed of as ACM. Ceiling Removal Areas - The Contractor shall remove fluorescence light fixtures, properly box bulbs and drum ballasts and have the bulbs and ballasts recycled by approved facility. All light fixtures to be disposed of by Contractor. All remaining ceiling fixtures shall be decontaminated and placed in a designated location or disposed ofifequested by Owner |
