Local Concrete Batch Plant Operators/Suppliers

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (the “Authority” or “Port Authority”) is hereby seeking responses from qualified Local concrete operators/suppliers that are interested in being added to an approved list of operators/suppliers that are eligible to be utilized by potential proposers for establishing and operating the two (2) concrete batch plants in support of construction projects at John F Kennedy International Airport (“JFK” or the “Airport”), identified as part of a future Logistics Support Services (“LSS”) contract. It is anticipated that the JFK LSS contract will provide concrete materials in support of, among others, airfield pavement, pile fill, footings, pile caps, floor slabs, piers, decking, utilities, barrier, and sidewalk construction. Contact information for Local concrete batch plant operators/suppliers approved through this RFQS will be incorporated into the JFK LSS Request for Proposal (“RFP”). The Authority intends to advance the JFK LSS RFP to solicit proposals from qualified firms interested in operating a marine transport facility (barging), two (2) concrete batch plants, and a concrete crushing facility, collectively referred to as JFK LSS, at John F. Kennedy International Airport in support of construction projects at JFK. These services would be provided to support planned and potential Airport construction projects including all or a portion of the JFK Redevelopment Program if and when advanced.
