Northwest WRF Odor Control and Pump Station Improvements

The Project consists of pumping and odor control improvements to the 12 million gallon per day (mgd) Northwest Cobb Water Reclamation Facility. The contract time for construction of the project is 365 calendar days (one year). The project consists of the following major items: 1. Replacement of two 400-hp influent pumps at the Proctor Creek Pump Station, with new check valves and isolation valves. 2. Upgrades and carbon media replacement to the Proctor Creek Pump Station odor control system. 3. Addition of an odor control misting system at the Proctor Creek Pump Station. 4. Construction of a treed berm at the plant Equalization Basins. 5. Addition of an odor control misting system at the Equalization Basins. 6. Replacement of the carbon adsorption odor control system and appurtenances at the Primary Clarifiers. 7. Replacement of odor control piping and appurtenances at the Sludge Storage Tanks. 8. Replacement of the chemical scrubber system with a carbon adsorption odor control system, dispersion fan, and appurtenances at the Sludge Storage Tanks. 9. Upgrades and carbon media replacement to the Dewatering odor control system, and a dispersion fan. 10. Addition of a hydrogen peroxide feed system at the digested sludge pump station. 11. Demolition and disposal of equipment and materials, as shown on the drawings. 12. Instrumentation and electrical system upgrades to accommodate the above improvements.
