Description | Contractor shall furnish all equipment, supervision, tools, travel, labor, and supplies to provide water analyzation and testing services for the Chlorine Dioxide Secondary Disinfection System with 2 incoming domestic water lines as required by the Statement of Work. The Department of Veterans Affairs in Birmingham, AL uses a Chlorine Dioxide Secondary Disinfection System for the 2 incoming Domestic water lines. The use of secondary disinfection requires permitting in accordance with Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) Administrative Code r. 335-7-4. The Birmingham VA Medical Center is a Non-Transient Non-Community public water system and must comply with all the requirements of ADEM Admin. Code r. 335-7 and must retain an operator licensed and certified (minimum of Grade 1) under ADEM Admin. Code r.335-10. |
