Description | The Beville Road (SR 400) Multi-use path project is within the City of Daytona Beach in Volusia County. The limits of the project extend along the South side of Beville Road from Andros Isles Blvd to 150 feet West of Clyde Morris Blvd, connecting to the existing sidewalk. The total length of improvements is approximately 2.1 miles. The project scope includes construction of 8 to 12-foot-wide concrete path (4-inch thick) from Williamson Boulevard to 150 feet West of Clyde Morris Boulevard. Additional construction activities include gravity walls, pedestrian railing, splitter islands, tubular delineators, drainage modifications, signing and pavement marking. Additionally, mobilization, maintenance of traffic (MOT), erosion control, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing concrete, sodding, excavation, and embankment are also included as part of this project. Signal modification includes 4 new aluminum pedestrian signal poles and signals for Williamson Blvd and Pelican Bay Drive. Milling and resurfacing of some side-street turnouts is required to ensure ADA compliance. |
