For Rothman Siphon Additional Barrel The funding source for this project is Sewer State Revolving Funds. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Rothman Siphon Additional Barrel as follows: The installation of approximately 500 linear feet of 20-incn HDPE gravity siphon across the St. Joe River via directional drilling. The project includes 3 sanitary structures, approximately 2,000 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe lining of existing sewers, manhole coating, and final restoration all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by the Water Resources Planning and Design Services Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry Street, Suite 250, Room 255, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 to familiarize prospective bidders with the proposed project and to answer any questions. There will also be an online meeting at the same time with meeting details provided through Quest. Prospective Bidders may attend in person, or the online meeting.
