Moore's Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility Miscellaneous Concrete Repair - Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority

Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlottesville, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. The two Holding Ponds and the two Equalization Basins were built with the 1977 Moores Creek Upgrades and are critical to the plant infrastructure to contain wet weather flows. The 40-year old concrete is showing signs of degradation. Following inspections in Fall 2020, Hazen recommended implementation of concrete repairs to extend the life of the concrete basins. Work will include crack repair, spalling repair, joint repair, and coating of miscellaneous metals and valves. This project is in included in the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 01, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
