Description | The Boston Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to provide construction-related services associated with the following project: Replace Fuel Pumps (VAMC Boston Brockton Campus) Provide all professional construction services necessary to perform the demolition of existing fuel pumps and construction of new fuel pumps for Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Brockton, Massachusetts in accordance with the Contract Documents. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and associated components, and furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by drawings and specifications for new access road and fuel pumps. The objective of the project is to replace corroded and failed gasoline and diesel fuel pump systems to correct deficiencies, provide easy access for trucks and trailers to the fuel pumps considering appropriate turning radiuses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $45 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 The period of performance is 196 calendar days. Any interested Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), or Small Business (SB) must indicate interest for this project, in writing, to the Contract Officer no later than 10/16/2023 at 4:00 pm EST via e-mail to Michael.Muller@va.gov . Any interested SDVOSB, VOSB, or SB should be familiar with the Boston VAMC and/or Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 1 that services the New England region. To qualify as interested in this project, information pertaining to the following five (5) components must be submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice on or before 10/16/2023 @ 4:00pm EST. (1) Statement of Intent that a Proposal will be submitted to the future Solicitation for this project, which said Statement of Intent shall include the company s System for Award Management Unique Entity Identifier (SAM UEI) Number; (2) Verification through the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as a SDVOSB or VOSB under the NAICS Code of 236220, if applicable; (3) Evidence of previous experience similar to the work proposed in the attached statement of work. At least (1) completed project (no more than 3 completed projects) similar in size and scope must be submitted. (4) Prime shall provide proof of bonding capacity for a project of this magnitude (5) Prime shall provide proof of insurance for a construction project of this magnitude All five (5) components must be submitted, in sufficient detail, prior to the designated deadline for a determination on available and interested SDVOSBs, VOSBs, or SBs. Failure to submit each of the five (5) components, as identified above, will result in a Contractor not being considered as an interested SDVOSB, VOSB, or SB. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine if set-aside procedures will be utilized.
