Description

Seminole County Community services is seeking a Florida Certified General Contractor or Certified Building Contractor to reconstruct a single-family residential home on private property. The home will be a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house containing 1,100 square feet of living area +/- 100 square feet. The Scope above briefly describes the work to be performed for this project. The specific work is further detailed in the County’s Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Standards (Exhibit E to the Draft Agreement) included in the bid documents. The CONTRACTOR must comply with the County’s Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Standards. If a Home Owner’s Association is present, it is the responsibility of the awarded Contractor to communicate with and obtain all necessary approvals from the Home Owner’s Association regarding the proposed work to be done on the home (paint colors, window frame colors, dumpsters/equipment at site, etc.). Prospective bidders are reminded that all communication must be with the assigned analyst to prevent interference with the homeowner’s privacy. Any unscheduled visit or contact with the homeowner outside of the mandatory pre-bid meeting may result in a disqualification of your firm’s bid. The CONTRACTOR will be requested to provide pricing based on the scope and specifications included in this solicitation.
