Heating Subcontractors

Adirondack Community Action Programs, Inc. Weatherization Program Energy Services of Essex County is soliciting names of Heating Subcontractors who would be interested in being put on our subcontractor's list for our contract year April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022 for tune cleans, repairs and/or replacements to residential and mobile home heating systems, repair/replacement of fuel tanks, minor electrical repairs and/or installation and disposal of water heaters (electric and propane) in all or certain designated areas within Essex County. Sufficient Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation and Lead Renovators Certification are required to be held by all Sub-Contractors. Minority and Women owned businesses are encouraged to apply A contractor packet with specifications may be obtained at ACAP, Inc. 7572 Court St. Elizabethtown, NY 12932, or by calling (518) 873-3207 x 241. Proposal packages may be picked up starting February 23, 2021 between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Proposals to be submitted to ACAP by 2:00 pm March 23, 2021, at which time all proposals will be opened. Proposals need to be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "REQUEST FOR SUBCONTRACTOR LIST" ACAP reserves the right to reject any and/all bids/proposals. The Weatherization Program is administered in NY State by Homes Community Renewal. It is funded by the US Dept. of Energy, Weatherization Assistance Program and/or the US Health Human Services Home Energy Assistance Program.
