Improvements to John Dow Avenue, West Prospect Street and Hopper Avenue Sidewalk Extension

Work to be performed under this contract includes the milling and resurfacing of John Dow Avenue from Crescent Avenue to Wyckoff Avenue and West Prospect Street from Lafayette Place to Franklin Turnpike, including construction of a storm sewer system on John Dow Avenue. A retaining wall, sidewalks, and driveways will be constructed along the west side of Hopper Avenue between West Prospect Street and a municipal parking lot. Also included is spot sidewalk, driveway, and curb replacement, construction of ADA compliant curb ramps, and other incidentals. Principal items of work in the project include: 7,655 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3” or Less 1,145 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course 210 S.F. Retaining Wall, Location No. 1 864 L.F. 15" Reinforced Concrete Pipe 1,625 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb
