Fan Coil Replacement

Project Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516. Magnitude Of Construction: Less than $25,000. SOW: The purpose of this project is to replace the current ceiling-mounted fan coil unit located in Room 3170 with a similarly-situated model located in the neighboring rooms. The new fan coil unit shall have a dual fan air system, and the new fan coil unit shall only support ventilation and cooling capabilities. The isolation valves must also be set into place to isolate the fan coil unit. Additionally, the chilled water lines located within Room 3170 and potentially within the corridor will require new insulation. The Contractor will also be required to verify the presence of Presumed Asbestos-Containing Material (PACM) on the chilled water lines prior to the start of construction. A (90) calendar days performance period for this project. Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted by the prime contractor through the Vendor Portal to both of the Point of Contacts listed above. No telephone RFIs will be accepted. The cutoff for RFI submissions is Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 4:30 PM ET. Responses will be provided in a Question and Answer format to all Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) holders on the Vendor Portal.
