Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. If awarded the contract, will furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond; execute the Contract; and proceed with the work. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit or amount of the Bid Bond as liquidated damages, and no mistakes or errors on the part of the Bidder shall excuse the Bidder or entitle him to a return of the deposit or Bid Bond. The Owner and Construction Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. This project has a Project Labor Agreement with the Trade Unions. The Statutes of the State of Illinois require that not less than the prevailing rate per diem, legal holiday, and overtime wages in the locality where the work is to be performed, be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed in the execution of the Contract. All other Statutes of the State of Illinois covering employment shall apply to any contract awarded.
