The RBC Justice Center was designed by Reilly Johnson Architecture, along with MKK Consulting Engineers for Mechanical, Electrical, and Security Electronics. FCI Constructors was awarded the contract for General Contracting Services. Com-Tec Security was subcontracted for the security electronic portion of the project. The scope of work for the security electronics included: Detention Door Control (HMI) Human Machine Interface Detention Door Control (PLC System) Programmable Logic Controller Door Intercom System (Analog) IP Video System (Bosch) Card Access System (Identicard - PremiSys) Commercial Door Access System (Identicard - PremiSys) Man-down/Duress System Uninterruptible Power Supplies The RBC Justice Center security electronic systems are a hybrid of analog, digital and PC based components. Certain components of he security electronic syste are reaching their end of life and other components are utilizing outdated technologies. Rio Blanco County is seeking a Security Electronics Company to submit afive-year plan to address the aging components of the security electronics system.
