Description | 1. The District Warehouse requires electrical and safety be brought to current standards. Space within the Warehouse will include conference rooms, storage space, offices and restrooms. Various loading dock doors will be closed off (except for one). Lighting and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) will require updating to accommodate the needs of employees. Electrical and data connections will be coordinated to accommodate new furnishings (to be provided and installed by the State). The electrical gear located at the exterior East wall of Teleconference and Training Center shall be replaced with new switchgear to meet current standards. Electrical modifications will include items identified in the Pharr District Complex - Electrical Upgrades Programming Narrative dated July 3, 2018. 2. The Signal Radio Shop also requires electrical and safety to be brought to current standards. The space within the Signal Shop will include offices, a radio shop, IT Closet, Men’s and Women’s toilet rooms with showers, a break room, open workspace and a workbench. There is an existing shop bay and warehouse area that requires electrical and safety to be brought to current standards. All work consists of interior renovation of the building with exception of the addition of accessible ramps at building entrances. All existing utilities are of sufficient capacity to accomplish the proposed project. Master Water or Sewer Studies are not included in the scope. No site civil work is required. Fire Protection is not required. Hazardous material testing and abatement not required by Architect or Engineer. Hazardous materials will be removed from the facility prior to demolition. |
