Site Visit: 10:00 AM ET Wednesday 19 Oct 2022. Register separately w ith both the NUWC Security and the NUWC Contracts Departments. See Sections A, I, J, and L. See Sections G and I. Bid Bond not required. Payment Bond required if contract over $35,000. Performance Bond required if contract over $150,000. See Sections H, I, and L.Buildings 101M and 102 Electrical Power. Visitors must check-in at NUWCDIVNPT Building 80, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport, located at 80 Access Road, Middletown, Rhode Island. Maintain physical distance and observe COVID19 precautions. Directions/maps available at Visitor parking is on northeast side of Building 80. Do not approach nor drive through vehicle gate. Heading west down Access Road, go past the second traffic signal and then first right into Building 80 parking lot. You should see small "Bldg 80" sign mounted on the two-story brick exterior wall that is facing the parking lot. Once checked in and further authorized, we will caravan as a supervised group of individual vehicles to the project site. Advise if special accommodations needed. Visitor Control is in NUWC Building 80 outside of NUWC Gate 23 and is open Monday- Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (except holidays). o This will be an unclassified site visit. o Follow-up questions can be submitted via email to joseph.scarpa6.civ@us.navy.mil and alexander.olarte.civ@us.navy.mil. o The use of any type of camera during the site visit is prohibited. o All participants MUST have an approved Visit Request from NUWC Visitor Control. See Section J. o Instructions for submitting a visit request can be found at the following o Access to NUWC Division Newport WILL NOT be granted without a valid visit authorization request on file. See Section J. o Indicate Joseph Scarpa, Code 0223, and Alexander Olarte, Code 0223 as the Government POC on the visit request.
