Description | As of 08/04/2022 No start and end date. For the following work: CTH W from Grant County Line to 1600 FT West of Mullen RD. (Approx. 8.6 miles) milling 1.5" of existing roadway as specified, and supplying and laying 3" mat ( approximately 20,000 Tons) of Hot Mix Asphalt, shouldering and pavement marking. A State of Wisconsin Type E-1 HMA design mix is specified. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or bidder's bond for an amount equal to not less than of the total bid, made payable to Lafayette County Highway Department, such guarantee to be forfeited should the successful bidder fail to enter the contract. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 59.52(29, 66.0901 and 66.0903 of the WI State Statutes. Funding for the project will be by Lafayette County and State of WI Local Programs. Notice is hereby given that a rate of wage scale will not be provided, but wages shall not be less than the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Award of the Contract, if contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but Lafayette County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to split any portion of the bid so that such bids as will be most advantageous to Lafayette County. Further, Lafayette County reserves the right to waive or not to waive any informality in any bid. The County reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work as may be necessary by the County; and the same shall in no way affect or make void the Contractor; except that the appropriate additions or deductions from the Contract price shall be made. Proposals received after the time announced for the opening will not be considered. No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the time announced for the opening of the bid, before the award and execution of the Contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding 60 days. |
