Description | The City of San Ramon invites qualified contractors (Proposers) to submit qualifications and proposals in response to this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQP) for On-Call Concrete and Sidewalk Repairs 2022. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A or C-8. Questions, requests for clarifications, or objections regarding the RFQP, the Project, or the Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to Jonette Fuentes, Administrative Analyst, at jfuentes@sanramon.ca.gov. Oral responses are not authorized and will not be binding on the City. Proposers should submit any such written inquiries or objections no later than 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022. Responses will be issued in the form of written addenda. Any objections to the RFQP, the RFQP procedures, or the Contract Documents will be deemed waived if not timely submitted in writing as specified in this paragraph. The selected Proposer will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price of $499,999.00, as further specified in the Contract Documents. The insurance requirements are specified in Article 4 of the General Conditions, and the selected Proposer must provide the required bonds and proof of the required insurance coverage as a condition to award of the Contract, within ten calendar days following notification of intent to recommend award of the Contract. The Project involves construction and repair work for public infrastructure, which may be located at various streets, trails, parks and other facilities located throughout the City. The Work is to be performed on and on-call and as-needed basis, based on Work Orders issued by the City, as further specified in the Contract Documents (attached hereto and incorporated herein). The City has assessed concrete repairs with an engineer's estimate of $260,000.00. The City anticipates future concrete repairsto reach $100,000.00, and have included the anticipated quantities in the Price Schedule. Additional work may be required during the life of the contract. There is no guarantee as to the quantity of Work or number of Work Orders to be issued for the Project. The City reserves the right to award the contract to more than one Proposer. |
