The scope of work includes approximately: 270 Tons of HMA 19 M64 Base Course, 4" Thick, 270 Tons of HMA MI-5 Surface Course, 2" Thick, and 2350 S.Y. of Dense Grades Aggregate Base Course, 2" 16" Thick for the Courts. 95 Tons of HMA 19 M64 Base Course, 4" Thick, 95 Tons of HMA MI-5 Surface Course, 2" Thick, and 750 S.Y. of Dense Grades Aggregate Base Course, 2" 16" Thick for the Paths. 690 L.F. of 12" X 19" Concrete Curb (Flush and 6" Reveal), 850 S.Y. of Plexipave Two-Color Tennis Court Coating, Tennis and Basketball Court Striping, 1 Unit Tennis Court Netting and Posts, 4 Units of 24" X 24" Lawn Drains, 1 Unit Inlet Type A, 170 L.F. of 10-Inch HDPE Pipe, 4 Units Player Benches, 1 Unit Chain Link Fence 4' Wide Single Swing, 2 Units Chain Link Fence 8' Wide Double Swing, 680 L.F. of Chain Link Fence 10' High 1 3/4 Mesh, and 800 S.Y. of Topsoil, Hydroseed and Straw Mulch Drawings and specifications for the above contract may be seen and obtained from the Borough Engineer, Robert L. Costa, Costa Engineering Corporation, 325 South River Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601, during business hours 9am-5pm Bids will be received for a Single Overall Contract, where the entire project will be executed by a single firm with undivided responsibility for performance and other requirements The Borough reserves the right to limit the number of sets given to any bidder. Bids must be prepared on the forms furnished with the specifications and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope. Bids must be plainly marked to indicate the name and address of the bidder and bear the word "Bid" upon the outside of the envelope. Bids may either be mailed or delivered in person. Mailed bids will be held and opened at the appropriate date and time. Bids received after the time for opening bids will be returned unopened. All bids must be accompanied by electronic version in CD/DVD/ Flash Drive Form. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for any and all causes as may be permissible in the Local Public Contracts Law. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.37 and 34:11-56.38 of the "Prevailing Wage Act," no public works contract may be awarded to any contractor and subcontractors or to any firm, corporation or partnership in which they have an interest while on the Debarred Contractors List until the expiration date given. The proposal is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with the N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq, and N.J.A.C. 17:27, which deal with Affirmative Action in relation to discrimination in connection with certain public contracts. All construction contracts equal to or greater than $1,000,000 must comply with N.J.A.C. 17:27-7.4. All bids must comply with the local Public Contract Laws, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.
