| Description | Contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment to replace patient lifting systems. New ceiling mounted patient lifts manufactured by Guldmann, Inc. to be provided by the VA for installation. Remove all existing patients lifts. Patch all finishes to match existing construction. Existing electrical service to be reused for new lift use Modify ceiling heights and door frames to accommodate new lift installation. Modify curtain track installation layout to permit installation of ceiling mounted patient lifts. Install new ceiling mounted patient lifts manufactured by Guldmann, Inc. and provided by VA. Installation to be completed by Guldmann certified installation contractors only. Complete patient lift installation checklist, including load test following every installation and prior to placing into service. |
