Design-Bid-Build, Construction Services to Reconstruct Apron A at Kirtland AFB, NM

The work includes the full depth reconstruction of Apron A at the Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. Apron A comprises of Apron A East and Apron A West. Apron A West will consist of approximately 351,245 sq. ft of 14" of Portland cement concrete (PCC) over 6" of aggregate base (AB). Apron A East will consist of approximately 178,233 sq ft of 5" of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) over 9" of AB. The apron shoulders will consist of 3" of HMA over 6" of AB. Also included in the project is the removal and replacement of the Aero Club Taxiway and West Access Apron consisting of 67713 sq. ft of 4" of HMA over 6" of AB. Other project items include the replacement of the existing fire retardant fill points, existing storm drainage network, aircraft tie-down points, and other required incidental related work.
