Description The following Project description is for general information only and should not be construed to be a complete description of all Work required. Reference should be made to the construction drawings and technical specifications, along with the General Conditions. The project consists of demolishing the existing meter vault and Venturi meter and replacing both. The existing vault shall be replaced by a precast vault with a double access door. The vault shall include an access ladder, sump pump, and a convenience receptacle. The new magnetic meter shall have 2" corporation stops upstream and downstream for testing and calibration. The pressure transmitter that is in the existing vault shall be kept and reinstalled in the new vault. A new electrical service and instrumentation and controls shall be provided for the meter, pressure transmitter and sump pump.
