Description

This Project is generally comprised of, but not limited to, the following: 1. Replacement and renovation of the roofing and HVAC systems. 2. Architectural work will be done as necessary in support of the primary renovation effort. 3. The scope of work includes replacing the HVAC equipment including packaged rooftop units and the heating plant (boilers, pumps, fuel oil tank) and replacing the air and water distribution systems. 4. Work will include replacing the automatic temperature control system in its entirety. 5. Associated structural and ceiling/finishes work as necessary to support the mechanical roof modifications. 6. The electrical scope of work includes modifying any circuits as required to accommodate the new HVAC units along with replacing panelboards throughout the building and the diesel generator with associated automatic transfer switch. 7. The fire alarm system will be replaced. 8. Major work is intended to occur during the school’s unoccupied summer months. 9. Construction is anticipated to begin by March 2021. 10. Substantial Completion is anticipated by August 2021. 11. The overall cost of construction of the Project is estimated to be in the range of $6,000,000.
