| Description | The Adobe Dam/Desert Hills/Apache Wash Area Drainage Master Study/Plan (ADMS/P) Update will provide strategies and alternatives to mitigate flooding hazards and reduce flood risks in the Adobe Dam and Desert Hills Area. The total watershed area is approximately 145 square miles and is located in northern Maricopa County within the City of Phoenix, Unincorporated Maricopa County, and the Town of Cave Creek. The primary goals of the study are to identify existing flood hazards and risks and develop strategies and solutions to mitigate the flood hazards and reduce the flood risks for residents and properties within the study area. Mapping will being completed in FY20. Study completion date is expected to be in FY22. |
