Description | The purpose of this requirement is to provide Ethernet data line support services to the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command, Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management. The U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command maintains services on a .ORG domain commercial ISP for conducting research specific activities. The U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command .ORG domain is used to maintain the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command websites, provide network connectivity to mission partners, and connectivity to systems and backup servers for continuity of operations (COOP) located offsite. The .ORG allows the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command to conduct Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) services to the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command labs and mission partners. The Contractor will provide external data line services to include: 50 MB (up speed and down speed) Ethernet data line and associated vendor provided equipment to allow copper connection to Government owned router. Minimum of a /24 Public IP address space with the address space of 216.127.134.0 95% or greater quality of service. Access to contractor technical support Monday – Friday during normal business hours (8:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET). 24/7 Access to emergency service in the event of Ethernet data line outage. The vendor must have or obtain authorization from the Fort Detrick NEC (e.g. past performance, letter of approval from Ft Detrick NEC etc.) installation to provide Ethernet data line services directly to the USAMRDC facilities at Ft. Detrick, MD. |
