Description

The work to be performed under these Special Provisions consists of resurfacing (asphalt rubber cape seal and slurry seal), striping/signage, base repair, and part reconstruction of West El Camino Avenue from Truxel Road to the Northgate Boulevard. The work includes base repair of the pavement, resurfacing, removal and placing new striping and signage, placing limited new curbs, gutters, sidewalks and median islands. This work shall consist of mixing asphaltic emulsion, aggregate, set-control additives, water, and spreading the mixture on properly prepared surfacing and any other work involved in constructing or placing material. The underground work includes adjusting utility frames, boxes to match new grades.
