J059--Automatic Door Openers - Preventive Maintenance and Repair

There are approximately 320 door openers distributed throughout 3 different medical center locations. Most of the openers are Stanley brand. However, there are BEA, Record, and other brand components in use. Some examples of the automatic door openers currently in use are, but not limited to: Stanley Magic Force Operator (Singles and Doubles) Stanley Pro Controller BEA Transmitters, Receivers, Push Plates RECORD Openers of various sizes Summary of Requirements: Repair Services: Repairs identified by either routine inspection, or direct observation will be reported to the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) who, in turn, will report to the Contractor. Contractor shall coordinate with the COR to complete the repair(s). Non-Emergency Repairs: Repairs necessary to maintain the life expectancy of the automatic doors and/or not critical to operations. Such repairs will have a 48 hour or less response time by the contractor. Emergency Repairs: Defined as repairs required to maintain operational readiness of the automatic doors. Repairs may be conducted during or outside of normal business hours. Contractor will be required to respond within 4 hours from the time notified. Repairs must be completed within 24 hours, unless otherwise approved (i.e. parts not immediately available).
