Feasibility Study and Conceptual Design Services for City Fire Administration Building

The City of Carlsbad (City) is soliciting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain proposals for a feasibility study with conceptual design services, from consulting firms who specialize in such work. The City is interested in the evaluation of potential locations for siting a new Fire Administration building and considering conceptual designs and rough order of magnitude cost estimates for the options that are developed. The City's fire administration services are currently managed from two (2) locations in the City and there is interest in co-locating these services. The city has considered four (4) locations to date and now requires the professional assistance of a qualified consultant/design team to help support a decision forward for the best alternative. The firm to be awarded the feasibility study and conceptual design services contract shall be known as the "Consultant."
