Description

The project Scope of work will consist of completing the dredging of Carolina Lake. This will include excavation to a maximum depth of -6 feet in elevation, removing an estimated 50,000 cubic yards of spoils to a location determined by the contractor. The contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of any removed materials and to comply with the local, state, and federal requirements. The Town does not have a viable spoil disposal site or temoorarv stockpile area. Dredging shall result in the creation of a stable profile to ensure the integrity of the lake bank. The Contractor will be required to return all disturbed areas around the lake to pre-construction conditions at the end of the project.
