Description | Landscaping (Tree and Shrub Clearing), Light, Heat, Power, Parking Lots/Ramps, Pavement - Marking, Aggregate, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Concrete Walkway, Concrete Pavement, Grade and Surface, Curbs, Paving (Parking Lot Paving), Landscaping - Seeding The Project consists of construction of 0.59 miles of 2 lane HMA roadway between Tomasi Drive and Lake Annie Road with concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water, and pedestrian lighting. Other items to be performed include clearing, excavation, grading, SESC measures, traffic control and slope restoration. The same reference to bid packages as indicated above also applies to bids being hand delivered. Prior to the time and date designated for receipt of Bids, any Bid that has been submitted may be modified or withdrawn via email to manager@cityofhancock.net or facsimile at (906) 482-7910. Such notice shall be in writing over the signature of the Bidder. Written confirmation over the signature of the Bidder shall be received, and date - and time-stamped by the receiving party on or before the date and time set for receipt of Bids. A change shall be so worded as not to reveal the amount of the original Bid. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the federal laws and regulations associated with that program, including the use of Davis Bacon Wage Rates. The City of Hancock is required to follow the contract provisions provided by the EDA which are included in the Instructions to Bidders and the Agreement |
