Pest Control Services for Various Charleston County Facilities

Under this contract, pest control services is the use of properly registered pesticides and/or the use of approved devices and methods at scheduled times, (no less than monthly) and at pre-planned intervals to provide adequate and acceptable levels of prevention, suppression, abatement and eradication at the County premises covered by this contract. It is the intent of Charleston County to award this contract to one service provider who meets all conditions of this contract that meets lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. 1.1 Full treatment includes inspection and treatments for all pests. Pests include roaches, ants, spiders, wasps, silverfish, dirt daubers, lizards, lady bugs, moths, snakes, fleas, ticks, yellow jackets, drain gnats, filth flies, fruit flies and any other pests not specifically listed here. The only exception to this list specifically are termites and bed bugs which are not part of the routine service and can be quoted by the vendor for treatment and prevention of. Ant mounds near the immediate perimeter of a facility are included in this contract. Wasp nests around the immediate perimeter of a facility are included in this contract as part of routine services.
