Description | The Statement of Work includes Fueling System Repairs at Fort McCoy, located in Wisconsin. Civil/Structural: i) (CLIN 0002) Provide a 3’x 3’ reinforced concrete landing located at the base of the stairs on diesel tank. b) Electrical: i) (CLIN 0003) Install new motor feeder, disconnecting means, overcurrent protection, and all other motor control circuits for new pump motors. This includes all associated hardware, fittings, and conductors. ii) (CLIN 0002) Provide a properly connected static ground connection at the proposed catwalk. This also includes associated ground rod, conductor, connectors, and testing resistivity of the complete grounding system. iii) (CLIN 0005) Provide static grounds with associated equipment and hardware including exothermic welds, grounding conductor(s), ground rods, protective conduits, mounting brackets, etc. Provide motor branch circuit, conductors and their protection, motor overload protection, etc. These will be fed from existing panel for new product return pump(s). Provide control wiring with associated hardware and equipment for any level indicators, alarms etc. routed to the control room and terminated in the new annunciator panel. iv) (CLIN 0005) Provide new annunciator & control panel to replace the existing one(s) in the control room including rewiring to existing pump controls, flow switches, offloads and any additional existing systems requiring termination in the new PCP. This work includes(s) all raceways, above and underground, conductors, junction boxes, fittings, and hardware including any hazardous rated fittings required to allow existing & new circuits to terminate in a new annunciator panel and Pump Control Panel. v) (CLIN 0005) Remove existing electrical system for the F-24 pumps 1 & 2. vi) (CLIN 0003) Provide a properly connected static ground connection at the filter separators. This also includes associated ground rod, conductor, connectors. vii) (CLIN 0003) Demolish existing unused pumps 11, 12 and 13 and the concrete pedestals that they reside on to allow room for the issue and receipt filter separators. Remove existing all electrical system for the pumps 11, 12 & 13. Cut cap and weatherproof all raceways, associated equipment, and hardware. viii) (CLIN 0003) Remove and scrap existing F-24 truck fillstand issue pumps 5, 6 and 7 including all electrical. Install new motor feeder, disconnecting means, overcurrent protection, and all other motor control circuits for three new pump motors. Mechanical/Structural: i) (CLIN 0002) Modify existing platform and handrails centered along the full length of the horizontal aboveground Diesel storage tank to allow for safe access to all tank appurtenances without having to step through the railing. ii) (CLIN 0002) Repair Emergency Vent on Diesel Tank remove and scrap existing emergency vent. Provide and install new emergency vent. iii) (CLIN 0002) Repair Primary Vent on Diesel Tank remove and scrap existing primary vent. Provide and install new primary vent. iv) (CLIN 0002) Provide an additional metal stairway for accessing the tank platform opposite the existing ladder. v) (CLIN 0003) Install a horizontal filter separator sized to handle at least 100% of the normal issuing flow rate of 300 gpm, filter separator and all associated flanged connections shall reside in the location where pumps 11, 12 and 13 used to reside. Existing issue piping header from issue pumps shall be rerouted to the inlet of new issue filter separator. The outlet piping of the issue filter separator shall tie back into the existing piping that exits the building and goes to the F-24 truck fillstands. Provide and install filter separator bypass line with all necessary valves and appurtenances. Thermal relief valves and air releases shall be routed to the new pressure relief header being installed as part of this project. vi) (CLIN 0003) Install three Centrifugal Rotoprime type truck fillstand pumps. Pumps shall be able to issue fuel at a rate of 300 gpm and shall be able to overcome the head loss of the existing system and new appurtenances as indicated within this scope of work. vii) (CLIN 0005) Modify Pumphouse Strainers - Remove existing plug from the bottom of all strainers. Provide and install a bottom drain with associated ball valve and dust cap. viii) (CLIN 0005) Provide Swivel Joint - flanged swivel joint at the Diesel truck offload connection point upstream of sight flow indicator being installed per 6.11.4.a. Swivel joint shall be stainless steel, permanently lubricated and shall be connected using stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. ix) (CLIN 0005) Install a hose rack for each offload point (2). Hose racks shall follow sheet MS507 of the Type III Hydrant Fueling Standards. Hose racks shall be installed so that they run down the fueling island to where the Kerosene dispenser used to reside. Existing offload piping will need to be modified to make them fit. x) (CLIN 0005) Provide Receipt Sampling Points - Provide and install a receipt sampling connection at the truck offload points as shown in the Type III Hydrant Fueling. Connection shall include a 1/4-inch sampling probe where the probe faces upstream, ball valve and ¼ inch quick disconnect coupling with dust plug, all assembled into a unit that is suitable for installation in a pipe nipple. The sampling probe shall extend not less than one inch into the fuel pipe xi) (CLIN 0005) Provide and install a sight flow indicator at each truck offload position (2) The sight flow indicator shall be constructed of carbon steel and be provided with flanged end connections. Indicator shall include an internal rotating propeller to provide visual flow indication. Indicator housing shall include a tempered glass observation port for viewing the rotating propeller. Indicator shall have Buna-N seals. ) (CLIN 0005) Install two Centrifugal Rotoprime type offload pumps. Pumps shall be able to offload fuel at a rate of 300 gpm and shall be able to overcome the head loss of the existing system and new appurtenances as indicated within this scope of work. An automatic air release valve shall be added to the receipt pump and piping to the new pressure relief header being installed as part of this project. Existing piping header from offload pumps shall be rerouted to the inlet of new filter separator prior to tying back into piping that exits the building and goes to the storage tanks. xiii) (CLIN 0005) Install a horizontal filter separator sized to handle at least 100% of the normal offloading Flow rate of 300 gpm. Thermal relief valves and air releases shall be routed to the new pressure relief header being installed as part of this project. xiv) (CLIN 0005) Repair Product Recovery Tank - Provide and install pressure relief piping and valves around all isolation valves as shown on Sheet M-502 of the Type III Hydrant Fueling Standards. Provide and install a main pressure relief header for each fuel type. All new pressure relief piping shall tie into its associated header. Remove and scrap all pressure relief piping in the pumphouse for both the Diesel and F-24 systems. Remove and scrap existing product recovery tank. |
