Description

The intent of this bid is to obtain a firm-fixed price for a three-year contract between the District School Board of Pasco County and one (1) supplier for all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials (coal tar emulsion), preparation, and other means of construction necessary to perform resealing asphalt and striping projects (parking lots, athletic tracks, etc.) on an "as needed" basis during the contract period. The initial term of the contract is for a three (3) year period from date of the award, and may, by mutual agreement between District and the successful vendor(s), be renewed for a period not to exceed the initial contract term, and if needed, ninety (90) days beyond the expiration date of the current contract period. It is estimated that approximately $300,000 annually may be expended under this contract; this is an estimate only and may vary (i.e., greater than or less than) significantly from this amount. There are no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, that any amount whatsoever will be expended. Deadline for Questions: August 17, 2022, at 2:30 PM (ET) The District reserves the right to waive minor informalities in any proposal, to accept any proposal which they consider to be in the best public interest, and to reject any part of, or any and all proposals. Failure to read or comply with the terms and conditions in no way relieves vendor(s) from their liabilities arising hereunder. Solicitations cannot be withdrawn prior to Board approval without a valid written explanation from the proposer and written consent of the Purchasing Director.
